The Tasofilt manhole air purification system combines components such as H2S (hydrogen sulfide) and CH4 (methane) in a chemical bond. Especially, H2S collects in shafts. It is an acid-based component and the main cause of bad odors and health problems.

With the Tasofilt air purification systems, high-quality activated carbon, manufactured using the latest technology, is used.

Activated carbon is used in many different areas of disposal and filtration. The most important areas are water filtration, air purification and medical purposes (blood purification, dialysis, etc.).

Activated carbon is only obtained from natural sources and is therefore not a threat to human health. Depending on the application area, active carbon can be used for various types of carbon with active capacities and contents.
